Weigh in day!!!!

First of all I was soooo not into running this morning.  It's raining and yucky and I actually thought of not going to the gym and climbing back into the nice cozy warm bed with the puppies. Then I remembered it's weigh in day so off I went.  Dropped hubby at the train and got to the gym. started my usual Thursday 6 mile run.  I was sooo not into it, the TVs kept going out do to the weather so there was nothing to watch sometimes while I was running.  I run with my Ipod going but i keep the TV on so I something to amuse myself. so I hoped off at 3 miles then got on the elliptical for the next 3 miles.  then went upstairs did my Thursday kettle Bell work out - have you ever tried them???  nothing like swinging weights around oh so freeing- tee hee. then I weighed in.  I lost a pound and half.  I was 132.5 I am now 131.  Yeah me.  Next week on Thursday instead of my usual run, I am going to do intervals and see how I like that.  tomorrow 2 mile run and spin class.  Do any of you get the Hungry Girl emails?  I love that chick she's great.  If you don't know who she is she is a lady who is constaly on a diet and has great tips etc.  You can find out about new diet food etc.  if you google her you can find her and subscribe to her daily emails.  I'm looking forward to the weekend.  Patty Tony & sophie comming over saturday night for a BBQ.  Patty has just lost 75 pounds.  She works out 6 days a week and makes the best cupcakes I have ever ate. I think I may request them.  She makes fresh butter cream icing, ohhhhh  .................  ok i'm back.  I think I need a cigarette  hahahaha any hooooooo .....  soposed to rain like crazy here all day and thru most of tomarrow and up to 40 mile per hour winds so i looking forward to an evening of the pee pee feet game.  I think I will go and get them a couple of hoofs to entertain them tonight while we are watching Bones. Thank God I'm Not wearing stripped Socks .....

We have a tornado watch here in effect until 6PM, and since they tend to drop houses on witches that wear stripped socks I am glad I am not wearing mine - LOL.  took Ed's class this morning and it was great as always.  He's changing it up again and we are all taking heaver weights to make the reps tougher.  The way I look at it, I will be rocking that french maid costume on Halloween. Al needed the car yesterday afternoon so I came home with the guys I work with, needless to say Bud was on the ride home too, so the diet went out the window again, but this time not so bad.  There is still some food left in the house.  But weigh in on Thursday.  Getting very windy here ( insert spooky sound)   It was funny this morning, one of the girls in the class was complaining she has no more shelf in the back. She said she is Latin and she is supposed to have a shelf, we all thought it was funny.  I just think it's a laugh riot that I have been working for years to get rid of the butt and the thighs my Norwegian grand father gave to me and now they are back in style.  Who would have ever thought that???  God Bless the RAP generation.  tomorrow 2 mile run ( as long as I set up my bike and don't gossip) and Fred's kick ass spin class - oh wait it's a saddle ride, my butt cheeks will be sore from today so that will be oh so much joy and bliss.  Any hooooo!!!!  thank you ladies so much for the kind comments you are all soo cool.  I'm still trying to figure this whole blog thing out.  oh here comes the rain - again. the flowers and the plants are happy the puppies not so much, they were playing the pee pee feet game again last night and even left a deuce on the floor in my bed room for someone to step in, good thing a scan the floors when I know they are in that mood.  Al not so much - its a man thing so I was happy i got it, because he would have been to happy stepping in that at 4:15 in the morning.  me I would have been laughing my ass off, him not so much.  this weekend Irish day, lots of fun.  It's a whole day made up by our town just for drinking and eating oh and a reason to have a parade.  I just realized I already menetioned this - i am old please forgive me.  Glee tonight - woo hooo stay sane everyone.

I forgot....

I forgot to let you guys know I weighed in on Saturday morning at the gym.  From Buds 3 week visit I gained a half a pound.  But it will be gone by Thursdays weigh in ( hopefully). Stan the man is feeling better today, back to his usual non puking self  and chasing Lola around the house like always.  they are hanging out with my cleaning lady this morning as it is Monday and Margarita comes at 10, then dog walker at 12:30.  They are just so busy those 3 - LOL.  Today 2 .50 miles running and .50 speed walk.  then spin.  We are still doing endurance rides for another week so its about 35 minutes in the saddle.  can get a little boring but we are traing for race day,  it is helping my running, which i was really not into today thus leading to the half mile speed walk.  I did my usual 2 miles in 20 min then I backed the speed down, there was still 15 min before spin class so I decided to run the last half mile because I didn't feel like doing the stair climber or the elliptical.  a good tune on the ipod and I was happy and banged out the half mile. Tomorrow Ed's kick ass class and sign up for the Wednesday 6AM spin class with Fred.  Hopefully the rain will stop, the puppies like to go out at night  for their walks and if they can't go because of rain, they are not happy.  They like walking in the rain, I don't really care either way, but the hubby would much rather I don't take them out in the rain, and since he goes with me now on the night time walk I say OK.  but they usually ware me down and i end up giving in and taking them.  time to push so papers round the desk.  Have wonderful day everyone. good TV tonight hopefully I'll actually stay awake

I'm the momma....

Did you ever notice that sunday morning before 12 noon is sooo relaxed?? then when you hit 3 pm you start realizing there is  sooo much stuff you need to do for monday and that you actually have to do it??  actully aside from stanny being sick all day - good thing i bought a large thing of Tide at BJ"s yesterday . sunday is my day off from life so iwatched Wall Street and spent a nice fun reralxing day with the hubby & puppies.  tomarrow a 2 mile run and a spin  class. i love weekends!!!! woooo hooooooo !!!! this weekend irish day (town day for Jagger bombs) and home comming in Roslyn (go Bulldogs) . have a wonderful sunday night .

color came out soooooooo wonderful!!!! hubby has a picture on his blong i think,  i tfound the picture in the victoria secrect catalog and Taylor(my clorist) is so wonderful that matched exactly.. i love that woman she's not even 30 but she "s great. did the 7 + 8 classes at gym and didnt eat all day until 6PM dinner. i have realised dietiting is sooo mental. i know the weed is gone and i am sooo back on track. we are doing halloween> i am think french maid, jessica rabbit or a playboy boy costume, i hate dead lines every time i tell my self i need to be thin by some date i gain weight.. puppies are calling choew for now!!!!

No More!!!!!

FRIDAY FRIDAY !!!!!!!!  this has to have been the longest friggen week in a long time, so long in fact i was actually thinking of banging in sick today, now that's long.  On the bright side our friend Bud has ended his 3 week stay at casa Klein.  I have pretty much given up the diet until he has departed which he now has.  I try to say "NO" but I give in.  I think I use it as excuse to go off my diet.  in fact I am pretty sure that's why.  Haven't hit the gym over the last 2 days due to lack of car.  the VW is now fixed and off i went this morning,  id my 2 mile run then a spin class.  Class was extra tough this morning as Fred the instructor for Wednesday class was sitting right next to me. so that pushed me to push myself.  Note to self, I am moving up next to Val starting on Wednesday.  Val is one of the girls who takes spin with me and when we're next to each other we race each other and push each other.  Tomorrow gym then off to get my hair done.  I am thinking apricot base color with highlights.  I asked the hubby for an honest opinion last night, he said my wife is blond then got the waitress involved by asking her.  Boy was he sorry 15 min later.  She and I got into a whole conversation and hair color, Brazilian keratin treatments and all kind s of other girl stuff.  I love the fall, new TV, love to see where they pick up.  last night Bones tonight channel 7 is repeating the modern family episode I slept thru so I want to see that.  Puppies are being puppies I took them out for a nice long long walk this morning they were happy.  Lola's not happy about sharing her long walk alone with  me with Stanley, but it is easier for me in the AM.  hope every one is having a good week and not stressing too much.  Life is too short to stress.  happy weekend every one thanks for reading

I Can't believe I ate the Whole Thing........

Happy Monday everyone,  I am sooo happy it's Monday ( i know smack me now) . New Week new out look..  So after the big trifecta on Saturday and the company not leaving until 11:45 pm  and then cleaning up I was beat yesterday.  So spent the day, lounging buying new furniture for the living room ,its arriving on Wednesday and getting rid of the hippie lettuce stash.  Hubby & I have decided once this is gone not to get any more for a while - Thank God.  Now left over from Saturday night I have 5 open bottles of wine and 5 closed bottles of wine.  Can you say PARTY!!!!!  I have to finish up the open ones and I have plenty of friends who would just love to come over and help out.  I ate like crap yesterday, shit I've been eating like crap since the cheech & chong decided to take up residence in my house.  But today bagels are all gone as as the cream cheese and all of the cakes.  Back to healthy food.  I went to the gym this morning did a two mile run and a spin class.  tomorrow Ed's class.  I am not looking forward to my Thursday weigh in but I will give you icky details after my weigh in.  I decided to try the star bucks instant coffee today since I need caffeine and it's not bad.  I'm feeling perky.  Had 2 cups at home (kruieg pods)  and now one here (instant Starbucks) .  Whoo hoo  Good TV tonight new shows start tonight fall is now here. Glee tomorrow night.  Have to make sure all of the household stuff is done before 8PM, House tonight to start off the week.  Have a great day everyone.

I did it!!!!!!!!!!!

I did it, was the only one besides the teacher who did all 3 classes - YES I pulled the trifecta.  1104 calories burned in my target zone whoo hooooo ...  my cheeks are a little sore already, but I'm smerkin!!!! haven't eaten all day and we are preparing lots of tasty food.  I will hopefully have some pictures from tonight as some of my really good friends are comming.   hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. have a great afternoon.  I heard this today and it's sooo true "we spend all of  our time worring about our destination, that we never take time to enjoy the journey"  take time to enjoy the journey, run naked in the rain, dance for no reason sing out loud, life is to be lived!!!!

Who's Got The Pee Pee Feet? ??????

Oh yes I was an extra in Up In Smoke again, as it was pouring again last night and we ordered in.  I am not going to recount the carnage that followed but lets just say if I fall into a puddle I will float like a cheerio and not the type that's on Glee. But got my ass up this morning and went to the gym. Did my 2 mile run then took a 45 spin class, that woke my ass up.  It was not raining when we got up at 4:15 but every thing was soaked so I wasn't taking Lola & Stanny out.  They weren't happy but then again they weren't happy from last night.  When the goof troop isn't happy they decide to F*&K with mommy.  They miss the wee wee pads and then they decide to poop right in front of Al's toilet ( yes we have his an hers bathrooms - and I love it).  So needless to say, I spent the night mopping floors and picking up poop.  Now the funny part is we have wood floors so they leave foot prints as they walk away from their little fun game so I always know by the size of the Pee Pee feet who did it.  it's a game i play with them as I walk around the house going "who's got the pee pee feet"  yes I know I need a life.  Makes me not want to scream at them and you see their little faces and the ears go  down in shame.  they are soo cute.  I have decided today that the most beautiful words in the English language besides "Washable Cashmere" - (yes there really is such a thing,) are "the flat road is coming up" we did an endurance ride this morning , all hill's and sprints on hills, I was loving that flat road, my left leg is alittle sore from the fall.  but I have  to suck it up, shack it off and go on!!!!  tomorrow is trifecta morning , I can't wait!!!!   11Am spin on Sunday doesn't start until next Sunday, so since I don't know what time I going to get to bed Saturday night I will figure out my work out for Sunday from there.  I didn't set up my new heart monitor last night as I forgot, But will do it tonight.  It's Polar but I am not sure which model.  They have the bra that you can just put the monitor in and it will read and work from there.  I have to get a few  of the bra's. my strap always chafes the shit out of me and that nasty surprise when you get in the shower really sucks Nothing else really going on, letting everyone live another day - so that's a good thing, but then again it is early.  Hopefully the rain is done and we can stop playing the Pee Pee feet game.

SHIT Day (So Happy Its Thursday).......

Well did the weigh in this morning at the gym.  We are starting at 132 people.  I want to go down to 125 - That's easy you say... NOT.... it's the slowest moving 7 pounds in history.  Did you know that when you fall down it actually hurts?  I tripped over part of the street last night while I had the dogs out  (it was 3 inches higher than the rest of the street) was amazed I was OK last night , my husband said it was because I have padding but this morning ouch!!!! I can't turn my neck to left - makes driving fun, I have a small bruise and a swollen left outer thigh and the arm is a little sore other than that I am OK.  The neck sucks.  Puppies are OK, they were surprised I was on the ground.  But I ran 6 miles this morning and did my kettle bell work out.  I like those things.  Nothing like swinging weight's around woo hooooo.  Not wishing the toilet is six inched higher today, legs are better.  tomorrow AM 2 mile run than 45 min spin class.  Saturday is the best.  My favorite trainer is teaching  3 classes in a row Saturday am.  So I get there at 7AM, we spin for 45 minutes then go into a 55 minute total body class (weight work out from head to toe) then in a 55 min cardio kick boxing class.  I wore my heart monitor one time thru the whole thing and give and take a few craps outs on it, it said I burned 1296 calories so I am figuring after the burn etc I was at about 1500 just from those 3 hours.  We have the same group that takes all the classes.  We call ourselves the Coven.  We've been together for about 5 or so years on Saturday.  wouldn't be a Saturday without telling  my friend Nana she has a nice ass ( she is usually in front of me and she has to bend over for the warm up,it's our little tradition) and I found out that they just added a 11AM spin on Sunday morning  - cha ching,  I can't weight.  This way I can still sleep in , well if you can call it that.  Sleeping in at our house means you get up at 6:30 instead of 4:15.  puppies don't like to sleep late. I can do my stuff at house food shop and still make the class.  Hubby said now he is going to be going to gym at 12 on Sundays for a few hours , so this will work fine.  I can spin from 11 - 11:45 then run for half hour steam shower and then walk home and hang with the puppies until he gets back. Going to set up the new heart monitor tonight being I have the correct weight.   Looking forward to a great weekend, supposed to be nice this weekend.  after all the stuff is set up for Saturday night going to work on my tan, may even do that on Sunday too.  I just wanted to warn every one now, Saturday night my eating will be in the dumper.  I live by the rule that calories consumed on a religious holiday do not count, so there. Plus I will be fasting from  Friday night until  Saturday night so I think I will be OK.  Al's making some tasty stuff and I have requested noodle pudding.  Time to push so papers around.  Feel good everyone  and remember to keep on smiling, makes people wonder what your up too.

Cheech & Chong Were in Long Beach Last Night!!!!

Yes we had another one of those herbal remedy evenings at our house, and of course I ate most if not all of my dinner (fettuccine with bolagonse sauce) bread & butter, a skinny cow ice cream cup, 5 cookies from my neighbor who is one of the best bakers I know and loves to give me cookies (we work out together so she knows how hard I work out) a bowl of whole grain cheerios with a handful of blue berries  topped with almond milk and just for shits and giggles a 90 calorie fiber one bar.  there is no way that I can be an extra in a cheech and chong movie and not glue the entire contents of Costco onto my hips.  I requested that they not visit our home, but someone used that request as mental floss and decided that since we have a party coming up this weekend at our home we need it.  Oh well, I am going to have to be strong, and just say no ....  (stop laughing AL).  Any hooooo... I got up hit the gym this morning 1 3/4 miles in 17 min then a spin class - usually do 2 miles before, but got gabbing in the spin room while setting up my bike so it cut my time down.  Class was all about being aerobic not anaerobic and we started our 12 week traing course for race day.  light Resistance and a strong tempo keeping the heart rate at 75% to burn fat & calories.  it worked I squished 554 calories. did ya ever have one of those day's where your wishing the toilet was 6 inches higher? Well i am having one of those day's today.  My legs hurt from yesterday and squatting to go hurts , but this too shall pass.  Was funny today in spin, when we went to stretch after the ride, all of us who took Ed's class yesterday we all going owwww  shitttt this hurts and then we laughed.  knowing we will all be there next week to get beat on again. thank you honey for taking care of that. Deciding now if I want to go darker on my hair color almost time for that fall touch up.     4 weeks until I go see the Dr's at Sloan for my 9 year check up.  They watch my weight like hawks and this time I am going to be lighter when I go.  weighing in tomorrow after my run and my kettle bell.  Thanks everyone for the food journal thoughts and input, I recorded all the carnage from last night felt some shame and moved on to today, someone asked if I have always been this into exercise and stuff.  The answer is no.  I received my gym membership from Al right after I finished my Rads.  I was one of the lucky ones, I never got sick form the Chemo  ( i did 6 months worth of chemo and 6 weeks worth or Rads) I had an outer body experience from one infusion, but I gained 28 pounds from the steroid eating.  since then I haven't looked back.  I have my time where I get sick of working  out plus dieting and need a break and take time off, that usually lands up being a month or 2 during the winter and that's when I pack on the pounds.  I am trying to avoid that this winter.  so I have started taking Sunday's off.  But I miss my Sunday run and spin so I have to figure out an even keel to get to.  I was reading different blogs and everyone talks about plans etc.  I think you need to find what works best for you and stay with it, tweak it when needed and go on.  To me dieting is all mental - as you can tell in our house.  you have to want to do it for it to work.  Will it be perfect NO, but that's part of being human.  Life is a journey and shit happens so... stay strong kids, you can do it we can do it, just in our own way.  the only person who can defeat you is you. ( i have to stop reading all of these fitness magazines)

Also:  the lady in the magazine said i  can wear skinny jeans and that I  should own a pair this season, i looked on line at the ones from GAP and unless they come with a shoe horn and a can of spay on PAM i don't think so, me and my Booty  are going to pass.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.......

Well the 4:45 am pictures of Day one are up.  Yes that's me in all of my glory before heading out to the gym.  I don't work out with my hair down it's usually up (Al has a picture of that be he's afraid to post it, he Say's I scare him - LOL) . So I got there and waited for the gym to open  at 5:30AM, signed up for the 6AM tomorrow's spin class # 1 on the list, which is usually full (25 bikes) by 5:34AM - teacher is kick ass - best way to burn 400 - 500 calories in 45 min. So I venture in to ask Ed the trainer of one of my favorite pay to play classes when the next session starts, next week, I thanked him and he looked and me at told me to stay for class today - DING DING DING winner.  I would much rather be beat on by Ed  for an hour than run 6 miles, don't know why but I do. This class is another kick ass class.  Its called Functional Training.  Its an hour of total pain, sweat and happiness.  Translated Squats, Jacks, Lunges, bridges, push ups, planks, dead lifts you name it it's there.  it's the same women who take it every time, these women also run with me, spin with me and they work out with ed on their own (no not like that) so we are a group who pushes each other and motivates each other , so class was beyond great....  The goof troop is happy it's not raining today so they can get out for their walks around the neighborhood.  even Elvis went out this morning.  I don't have a number for the scale yet  - I have gotten even with my scale. I let my next door neighbors 2 year old use it as a jumping board and now oops oh well it doesn't work - sooo sorry.  I weigh in on Thursday AM at the gym after my run & kettle bell work out. I will take a picture of the scale.  I have fun weighing my self naked because their always some body in there who doesn't want to look and they get this strange look on their face.  Trust me on the  New york Sports ladies locker room you see all kinds , so i fit right in.
So Question: does any body keep a food log???  do you find it keeps you on track or it's just a pain in the ass???  Every magazine I read tells me to keep a food log, so I am trying ( again) I give them to my Robyn to look at she's a nutritionist and tell me where I went wrong.  She always has three things to say 1) give up the wine 2) stop hanging out with cheech & chong and 3) take a penman ship course she can never read my writing so this time I am going to try to be neater so maybe it will help.  This post has  probably driven my husband crazy by now as it is one giant run on sentence - PSSLLLTTTT my blog my run on sentences.  Just got done with vacation a week back so I have read all of my newest magazines, I have found that skinny jeans are in and so is the BOOTY. wow who ever dreamed that my fat ass would be in style again - woo hooo .  well time to crack the whip here at the office - i am the only girl here and second in command so when the boss is out I am the boss lady .  have a wonderful day and remember a few small changes can be the begining of something great.

Feelin the LOVE!!!!

First of all thank you all so much for the kind welcoming words.  I have been behaving my self and kept my food log, and i have 405 calories left after i have finished dinner humm decisions decision on what to have for snack.  tomorrow the gym and the usual 6 mile Tuesday morning run - thank God for my ipod.  I could have done the elliptical when i hurt my toe, but since i couldn't get the shoe on and we're not allowed to wear flip flops on the machines i settled with walking the dogs ALOT.   we have a pool there, I've used it a few times but i had my hair brazilined straightened and the chlorine would kill my major investment - yes i am vain. so i decided to stay out until i could get my shoe one.  its raining here and it's like the doggie speed way, their crazy and the vet said Stanley was fat.  i don't see how, hes large boned, no really he is.  bad TV tonight and the puppies don't like the rain and i didn't get them their chicken treats today (bad mommy) i will get them tomorrow.  i decided the way to feel really thin and good is wear pants that are too big> works every time.  I put on my size 12"s i am really an 8 a 6 when i really am on my game, and poof instant thin. made me feel better about skipping the gym. i know if i keep this up soon the 12's will fit again and i wont feel so thin.  tomormow i promise pictures for day one.  got all my food packed for tomorrow, i bring all well measured and made very tasty breakfast lunch and my snack.i keep everything very very low fat with lots of great taste and lots of fiber. today's snack in the afternoon was an apple with .5 ox of low fat Carmel dipping sauce (40 calories for the serving)total calories for the snack was 120 calories i swear i leered at that snack all afternoon like it was George clooney in a speedo.  and it was good......   as i am sure George in a speedo would be.  tomorrow mornings tasty breakfast is 1/2 cup whole grain Cheerios, 1/2 cup fiber one original cereal half cup mixed fresh berries and 1/2 cup almond milk which is so friggin good and only 40 calories per cup. lunch 1 cup patties tasty beans and 2 cups steamed broccoli with peppers and lots and lots of fresh spinach, some carrots and cerly sticks on the side and a peach too.  now that i have put you to sleep .  feel good and keep up the good fight!!

Argghhhhh It's Monday!!!

Yes it's Monday and of course I  didn't go to the gym again.  Instead I went back to bed with the 2 puppies in my nice big comfy warm bed.  Just a back story, I hurt my little toe the first day of my vacation a week and half ago and couldn't get a shoe on until this past Saturday so I haven't been able to work out.  Now I can for the first time this morning and a bagged out.  Too much weekend - there I said it, I ate too much drank too much and had some herbal remedies which make me eat the contents of the entire refrigerator most of the time.  getting up on Monday is tough.  So there are no pictures but tomorrow there will be as I want to get into the Wednesday 6AM spin so you have to be there at 5:30AM the morning before to get on the much coveted list.  The hubby will have a field day doing the beginning pictures as we get up at 4:15 in the morning every day and I have to say that i hit the floor running, I don't need coffee to get me going, but add in a good cup caffeine and I don't shut up.  I have driven many people crazy with my freakishly happy personality. 
Going to  get in my 64 oz of water today, thank god the bathroom is very close  and to keep it under 1400 calories.  So far whole grain oatmeal, 1/2 cup spoon size shredded wheat and bran mixed in  and 1/4 cup of blueberries.  They say it takes 21 days to make a new habit, lets see if I can make it thru day 1 and not kill any one ......

Are these foot prints we have to wash out or what??  how am i supposed to know i haven't looked yet... welcome to my life, so many unanswered tough questions.  sometimes ya just sit back and say "whatttt??" trust me alot of days i just sit and scratch my head others well.... you will see as we go.  i am doing this blog because i have gotten tired of letting myself go from the middle of September to the end of February when i am up to a size 14 - 16  and say oh what  have i done this to myself. yes i keep 3 sizes in my closet , i have to say when I'm on my game its balls to the wall  when I'm off it s oh well ms Scarlett tomorrow is another day.  no more of that.  tomorrow day 1 pictures of me unplugged before hitting the gym and a picture of tomorrows scale.  I'll keep you informed of what i eat,how i exercise, and god knows what else.  i need you fellow bloggers to keep me in line.  i actually want to get down to 125 and still be able to eat. yeah yeah i know poor little skinny bitch whining she wants to get skinner. deal with it.. i will be posting what i am eating and how i am exercising and different things and recipes i use to keep life at 1400 calories a day, ya never know you might learn something... we are all in this fight together no matter how we see it, we just have to fight the battle differently.  Peace out for now...
